Doze the mall, put up a Civic Center on the ashes of Biltmore Square Mall.

Interstate access, plenty of support services.

Pull from Hendersonville, Brevard, Saluda and Asheville. Maybe even Greenville.

I am curious as to why the ONLY SERVICE LINE mentioned is Trauma. There are many other clinical areas that excel in what they do and in their service to the community. Are the others content with status quo???

There are also other clinical caregivers involved in the care of the Trauma pt-give some credit to ER, PACU and also the support areas of Radiology and all the employees who care for these pts!! I can't understand why it never took off. It had a lot of the same stores that the Asheville mall had, but was much easier to get to for a lot of people in the area. For one thing, you didn't have to navigate the mess that is Tunnel Road.

It's only a matter of time now, I guess. Everything is deserting the mall, and there's not really anything left after Waldenbook's leaves besides a Radio Shack, Hallmark, and Belk's. The audience was treated to 14 wide-ranging performances including comedy sketches, juggling, music, dance, and magic. The diverse performances were tied together by the masterful MC work of Brian Sneedon (aka Baron Von Sneedon).
Highlights included the always entertaining songs of Cookie Larue and Vendetta Creme; the intense Butoh performance of Julie Becton Gillum, the classic street magic of Tom the Magician, the violin and accordion of Lynday Pruett and Bretian, the hoop dance of Britta Filter combining both acrobatic and ballet influences, the comedic genius of Jim Julien, and juggling from 40 Fingers and a Missing Tooth.....and of course Sophie the Wonder Dog.

Biltmore Park Town Square has slapped everyone in the face by being choosy about picking tenants and it will pay off and already is.
