Create an Ashvegas flag, win pizza and pesos

Everybody loves to fly a flag. Especially here in Ashvegas. We've got H.K. flying the Confederate flag. We've got the Kuhns flying the American flag upside down. We've got rainbow flags. On and on.

Now you've got the chance to design a flag just for Asheville. We're not exactly clear on why, but Asheville Pizza Co. and WWNC radio 570 are co-sponsoring the contest. They want all you Ashvegas artists to be funny and creative and send in your entries.

Then people will vote online, and the winner will get $500 in cash and $200 in food from Asheville Pizza. That's a pretty sweet prize. So get to work and email your design to flag@wwnc.com.
