What you should know about Zylotrim

And from the dark secluded valleys

I heard the ancient songs of sadness

But every step I thought of you

Every footstep only you

And every star a grain of sand

The leavings of a dried up ocean

Tell me, how much longer?

How much longer?

- Sting, "Mad About You"

The world is full of paper,

Write to me.

- Shahid Agha Ali, poem

New music festival coming up: Booty Band Land

The Booty Band Land music festival is coming up Sept. 24-27 just over the mountains in Tennessee. I'm not sure, but it looks like the event is organized, or at the least features, the beloved Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band of Asheville. The Mad Tea Party, Jenn & the Juice, StereoFidelics, Asheville Horns and the Honeycutters are just some of the bands scheduled to play.

Here are more details:

Sneedville Yacht Club Ranch is a beautiful 135-acre farm located on the Clinch River in the mountains of NE Tennessee. Enjoy camping, canoeing, kayaking and mountain biking.

The festival will start on Thursday for those lucky enough to make it, with music starting at 6pm and continuing on all three stages until the early AM.

Booty Band Land will rock a FOUR-day weekend, with music on three stages including the Badonkavilion. While a band is playing, that stage will hold the primary focus until the set is complete, while the other stages are being set up for the next bands.

Our Badonkavilion will provide a covered location for:

Morning & Evening Yoga, to relax your mind, booty and soul

The High Noon Patriots, for a High Noon discussion session

12 step community support… maintain your clean lifestyle while supporting others

McCall Hosting Stage for various bands 2nd performances

Workshops hosted by Al Al on Bass, Jeff Sipe on Drums and Lefty Williams on Guitar

Early AM DJs for those wanting to party until Sunrise!

This festival will provide a host of recreational activities including:

Camping – Enjoy the festival without travel worries

Drum Circles – Bring your drums and gather

Theme Camps – Express your personality with a camp that makes you… you!

Fire Performers – Dancers, Spinners and others thrilling us with the flame

Effigy Burn – Burnin’ the Booty Mama and whatever else makes it in!

Arts & Crafts – Enjoy kind handmade wares of every sort

Bootygras Masquerade – Bring your costume and let’s boogie!

Disk Golf – For those seeking a toss… or two

Video Film Festival – Short films by various independent filmmakers & artists

Donna the Buffalo has been added for 2 nights, from what I hear they are playing at 2:30am on Friday AM, that's Thursday late night for sure! This time isn't on the site yet, but yeah tickets are only $59 which I can't believe for the event I am looking at. We'll see, but it looks pretty impressive!
