For sale: Blue Ridge Motion Pictures land, building, inventory

I have a “turn-key”  business for sell.
 
There is around $700,000. +/- of inventory and or equipment to sell for $ 250,000.
 
Also,  I’m interested in selling the Land (40 acres) and total building (180k sq ft).  Currently 80k sq ft have long term leases in place.
 
Both can be bought for $3,350,000.00 dollars. 
 
If you wish to stay in the location now occupied by BRMP (80K sq ft,  from the construction Department to the front offices) without buying the building, we can  work something out.
 
The Red Camera, 35 MM, 3 Apple Final Cut Pro computers, Sound Equipment, Grip and Lighting is included in that price.

So happy to hear of this God speed on the sale! The damage they (BRMP) have done to the WNC film biz is worse than not having a competitive tax incentive.

Personally, I'm sad to hear this.

I'm unaware of any negativity about BRMP, but as an out-of-towner who was blessed with graciousness from the owners of BRMP and their willigness to work within the constraints of my indy budget I can say that the world needs more folks like the ones who went above and beyond during my shoot at Blue Ridge Motion Pictures.

Not at all surprised to see this sorry excuse for a business fall to the wayside. Times are tough but that is no excuse for the lack of professionalism and sheer pettiness of the staff at Blue Ridge. I spent far too many hours as an unpaid intern to leave with nothing more than 3 credit hours and a horrible impression of their version of the "film industry".

Good riddance. And here's hoping that whoever takes over the business does a much better job.

Well I see most are displeased with BRMP. I can understand you frustrations, but you were an intern. The make up of the term is to do all the CRAP work in the industry that no one else wants to do. Welcome to reality. LEANNE, MERWIN, TOM AND EVEN SCOTT of Pheonix. YOU GUYS WERE GREAT. I have never went to school for film lighting or sound. Yet I have worked on more projects then my brother-in-law who did.

So to all you haters. Sorry you didn't learn or should I say ask the questions. You had some good people there that were willing to teach you, if you would have only paid attention and asked. I now have 2 films, 6 commercials, 4 music videos, 2 infomercials, and 8 Indy films now under my belt having been an intern there. SO AGAIN......LEANNE, MERWIN, TOM AND SCOTT......THANK YOU FOR THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE GIVEN ME. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND I WILL NEVER FORGET MY TIME AT BRMP!

How sad, I was so hoping you guys would make it just because...well you are all really nice people, and I liked your non-hollywood vision. But I guess the times have gotten the best of everyone nowadays. I was also surprised to see so many negatives comments. I guess that comes with the territory. And a comment to former intern oct. 12...I'm so happy you learned a lot but your english and/or grammar leaves a lot to be desired. I'd bone up on that if I were you and then you'd really be able to make an impression with your resume'; but cudos to you it's good to hear a success story. Life is what you make it.
