A few tidbits:

- Spooky stories: There's a new tour of Biltmore Village by the one and only Joshua P. Warren, Asheville's top ghost story guy. Go to hauntedbiltmore.com.

- There's a new book of essays and photos coming out called The Blue Ridge: Ancient and Majestic. Looks interesting.

- Gas prices are still dropping. They're down to $2.40 a gallon on my street now.
