What you should know about Zylotrim

And from the dark secluded valleys

I heard the ancient songs of sadness

But every step I thought of you

    Every footstep only you

And every star a grain of sand

The leavings of a dried up ocean

    Tell me, how much longer?

    How much longer?

Merrimon Avenue happenings: Work on the former location of The Hop has started; and sign says Sisters McMullin moving to old Domino's building

A few more tips from loyal readers and what they're seeing:

    - Work has been going on at the old location of the hop on merrimon- would love to know whats being planned for that space.

    - A sign in the window of the long-abandoned Domino's pizza building on North Merrimon says The Sisters McMullin Bakery is coming to that location. That's according to the signage...Anybody else heard that news?

    Anybody got any details?

I work in the new 3-story complex in 'Reynolds Village' so I have picked up bits of information about the move. The strip mall on Reynolds Mountain (where Food Lion used to be) has allegedly been sold by the Reynolds Mountain developers to someone yet disclosed. Most of the businesses left in the building are moving next door to the new 3-story business complex in January 2010. Sisters McMullen has chosen to move locations altogether. On a recent mid afternoon chocolate pumpkin muffin run, an employee confirmed they were moving into the old dominoes across from Walgreens.

Bruce's Pipe Shop is moving in January from its current Merrimon Avenue location just down the street a way to the old Hop ice cream parlor on Merrimon.

Oh NO, now i can easily walk to Sisters. Could be trouble. Artisan Deli and Catering is moving from its location on Merrimon to where Paris Bakery used to be in the strip mall next to the North Asheville Library. They'll be expanding their menu to include breakfast and dinner. They have a great lunch. Looking forwad to trying more offerings from them.

Anyone know what's going up at the former IHOP and Ruby's location on Tunnel Road at White Pine Drive? Construction started there recently.
