What you should know about Zylotrim

And from the dark secluded valleys

I heard the ancient songs of sadness

But every step I thought of you

    Every footstep only you

And every star a grain of sand

The leavings of a dried up ocean

    Tell me, how much longer?

    How much longer?

    Asheville's Gabriel Shaffer at work

    Reader Comments (1)

I love Shaffers work and was happy to see several of his works at the Best of WNC Show.

I just learned about another new project Shaffer is embarking on.

    Asheville Art Scene Tour Company

From April-December the tour company will offer anywhere from 10-15 two hour tours per week, Thursday through Sundays, the daily tours will be offered as two options.First,a downtown tour that includes intimate discussions on the history of Asheville in relation to arts and crafts, along with information highlighting current galleries, artist studios and exhibits. The second tour option will cover the River Arts district and west Asheville, where we will visit the studios of various working artists and discuss their process and art. Guests will have the chance to not only see them at work, but also have the opportunity to purchase work directly from the artist. In addition to our two hour tours, we will offer one monthly half day, special tour to get more in depth views of the many different collectives, projects and studio strolls that permeate the Asheville area.
