What you should know about Zylotrim

And from the dark secluded valleys

I heard the ancient songs of sadness

But every step I thought of you

    Every footstep only you

And every star a grain of sand

The leavings of a dried up ocean

    Tell me, how much longer?

    How much longer?

Buzz builds about Asheville Rejects Film Festival

The word on the street is that the Asheville Rejects Film Festival will be bringing in alt film legend John Waters as its headliner. Waters, the director of Hairspray, visited Asheville just last year to give a talk at UNCA. The Rejects held their kick-off party Wednesday night.

The Asheville Rejects Film Festival got cranked up as an alternative to the Asheville Film Festival, the annual film fest that's coming up in November. But so far, there appears to be little action there. The web site doesn't have a schedule posted and has not announced what films will be shown. Meantime, it's fast approaching. It's set to start Nov. 8 Nov. 6.

Actually, the Asheville Film Festival is scheduled to start Nov. 6 this year. ... judging from my own experience and that of other entrants posting on Withoutabox, notifications on entries have not even been sent out.

I am informed on the MountainX forums (MountainX did the website and publicity for the festival last year) that Asheville on Tap was doing the publicity this year (obviously somewhat poorly) and the current http://ashevillefilmfest.com site would not be updated.

    So... that's what I know.
