And from the dark secluded valleys

I heard the ancient songs of sadness

But every step I thought of you

    Every footstep only you

And every star a grain of sand

The leavings of a dried up ocean

    On Obama watch in Asheville

Sen. Barack Obama will be coming to Asheville sometime over the next few days to hang out and prepare for his next debate against Sen. John McCain on Tuesday in Nashville.

Time to be on Obama watch.

Where do you think he'll be hanging out? I'm guessing the Biltmore Estate -- solid security, a bit cloistered. Will he come down to the drum circle? Maybe he'll pose for a picture in front of the Big Iron.

And who will be helping practice? Maybe Carl Mumpower can stand in as John McCain. Or R.L. Clark, who I think might actually be the one Republican older than McCain.

Thoughts? Meantime, keep your eyes peeled and let me know. If you see Obama, or know where he'll be, shoot me an email at sweetashvegas@hotmail.com.
